1. Short version#

• Your audio never leaves your device. The tools run in your browser. We have no server that receives audio, projects or recordings. This was checked in the program files before this version was published.
• For an account we keep your e-mail address, a password check value (your password itself never reaches us), security records, and what you bought.
• We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels on the pages. The one third-party script is Cloudflare's Turnstile bot check, loaded only on the sign-up and password-reset forms and after failed sign-in attempts (clause 3, row 19). Cookies of ours are used only to keep you signed in and to protect your requests.
• Payments are made on a public blockchain; wallet addresses and amounts there are public and cannot be deleted by anyone.
• We use a few service providers (hosting and security including the bot check, e-mail, public blockchain nodes). They are listed in clause 8.
• You can delete your account yourself. You have rights over your data (clause 12).

2. Who is responsible#

2.1The controller of personal data for the Site and the service is BestMastering; for the signals that Cloudflare uses to improve its own bot detection (clause 3, row 19), Cloudflare is a controller itself. Contact: support@bestmastering.com. We have not appointed a data-protection officer. For any privacy question write to the address above.

2.2For people who only use the free tools without an account, we are not able to identify you from the tool use; the only data that reaches us is the ordinary web request (clause 3, row 1). Where a page checks whether you are signed in and which functions are unlocked, that request also goes to our account service; it carries your session cookie only if you have one.

3. What we collect, why, and for how long#

The "basis" column is a courtesy GDPR-style description.

4. What we do NOT collect#

4.1No audio or project content. Not the files you open, the recordings you make, the projects you save, the mixes you export, or the settings of your plug-ins. They are processed in your browser (or in your plug-in host) on your device.

4.2No analytics, advertising or tracking. No analytics service, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no social-media buttons, no third-party fonts, images or tag managers on the pages, and no fingerprinting by us. The only third-party script is Cloudflare's bot check (clause 3, row 19), a security measure that looks at technical signals of your browser and connection to tell people from bots; it loads only on the forms named there and we do not use it for tracking. The only other third-party request that your browser may send on its own is the technical network-error report in clause 3, row 18.

4.3No payment details. We never see card or bank data; we do not accept those. Your wallet's private keys or seed phrase are never needed and must never be sent to us. We will never ask for them.

4.4No identity documents. We do not collect passports, ID or a "know-your-customer" file.

4.5We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Browser storage, cookies and the service worker#

5.1The Site stores some data on your device only: small settings (language, layout), autosaved projects and imported audio (IndexedDB), a copy of the program files for offline use (cache and a service worker), and - when you sign in - session cookies and licence information. None of this is sent to us except the session cookie and the anti-forgery token with account requests. The list of every item is in the Cookies and Storage Notice.

5.2The cookies are only for sign-in and security. They are strictly necessary for the service. For the bot check (clause 3, row 19) we set no cookie and store nothing in your browser; for anything Cloudflare itself sets for the check, refer to Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.

6. Payments and blockchain data#

6.1Payments are USDT transfers on the BNB Smart Chain, a public, permanent ledger. Transactions, addresses and amounts there are visible to everyone, can be linked to you by anyone who knows your wallet, and cannot be edited or erased by us or by anyone else. Our database records your deposit address, the transaction hash, block, amount and time of each credited deposit. It does not record the sender's address; the blockchain does.

6.2We do not ask who owns the wallet that sends money. If you link a wallet to your account, that link is stored until you remove it.

6.3If you pay through a browser wallet (for example MetaMask) or an exchange, that wallet or exchange and the network it uses handle your data under their own policies.

7. The downloadable plug-ins#

Applies from the plug-in release

7.1The plug-ins process audio on your computer and do not send it to us.

7.2To activate a plug-in, the plug-in shows a short code and you approve it on this Site while you are signed in; the plug-in itself then sends no e-mail address and no password. As a fallback the plug-in can sign you in itself, and then it sends your e-mail address and a derived key. In both cases, and whenever the plug-in refreshes its licence, it sends over an encrypted connection the plug-in name and version, a device identifier and a one-way hash of a machine identifier (clause 3, row 11). The server answers with a signed licence.

7.3The plug-in keeps a licence file on your computer (Windows: %APPDATA%\BestMastering\license.bml) with your account ID, licence ID, the products you own, the device identifier and machine hash, validity dates, a signature and - only if the CXDX hold feature is ever used - the linked wallet address. It does not contain your password or your e-mail address. "Sign out" in the plug-in deletes it.

7.4The plug-ins contain no usage-reporting or analytics code, and their editor windows load local program files rather than web pages. The editor uses Microsoft's WebView2 runtime, which is a Microsoft component with its own privacy terms. It keeps its own cache and data in the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\BestMastering\WebView2 on your computer. If you yourself switch on diagnostic logging (the environment variable BM_WEBUI_LOG=1), the plug-in also writes a small log file, %LOCALAPPDATA%\BestMastering\webeditor.log, to your computer; it is never sent to us.

8. Who else handles data (processors)#

We do not sell data, and we do not give it to advertisers. We may disclose data where the law, a court or a public authority requires it, or to protect rights and safety.

9. Transfers outside your country#

9.1Our providers are mainly in the United States and operate global networks. Your data can therefore be processed outside the country where you live. We rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and, where available, data-privacy-framework certifications.

10. How long we keep data#

11. Deleting your account and your data#

11.1How. In your account page choose "Delete account", confirm that you give up your balance and licences, and enter your password. Deletion starts a 7-day waiting period: until it ends you can still sign in and cancel the deletion on your account page, and purchases are paused. We send an e-mail to your address when the period starts. If your balance changes in the meantime (for example a deposit arrives), the deletion is cancelled and we tell you. If you cannot sign in, write to support@bestmastering.com from the registered address; we will verify through your mailbox.

11.2What is deleted when the waiting period ends: your e-mail address and password check value, your sessions, one-time links, signing codes, linked wallets, licence grants and hold grants, and your device records. The deposit address is retired.

11.3What stays, and why: the balance ledger, the purchase records, the payout records and the deposit records are detached from your account (the account ID in them is cleared) and kept as accounting facts, because they describe real payments and because the blockchain is public anyway. The record of the retired deposit address (an opaque identifier and the address itself) and the security-log rows about the account keep the opaque account ID; when the account is deleted, the keyed IP hash is removed from those rows (the ones whose subject is the account), and the rows expire as stated in clause 10. Security-log rows about anything else (an e-mail address, a single computer or, if the CXDX hold feature is ever switched on, a wallet) are not changed by the deletion (clause 3, row 13). This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data: the opaque ID no longer leads to your e-mail address, but anyone who knows your deposit address can find its payments on the public blockchain. The retired deposit address is watched for about 90 days so that a late payment is not lost to a wrong account; such a payment can no longer be credited.

11.4Consequences. Your balance and your licences are lost when the account is deleted. Use or withdraw your balance first (Refund and Payments Policy). A short e-mail is sent to your address when the waiting period starts and another when the account has been deleted; we do not keep copies of them. If you register again with the same address later, you get a new, empty account.

11.5Backups may keep data for a limited time (clause 10).

12. Your rights#

12.1A courtesy for everyone. Whatever your country, we give you these rights over your personal data, in the style of the GDPR: access (a copy), correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, portability (a structured copy), and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (EU), the UK GDPR or the data-protection laws of your own country may give you such rights by law.

12.2How. On your account page, "Download my data" gives you a file with your account, balance, ledger, purchases, products, devices, deposits and payouts (the most recent entries if there are very many). For anything else, or for the complete copy, write to support@bestmastering.com from your account address. We reply within 30 days (extendable where the law allows). We may ask you to prove your identity; we will not ask for more than needed.

12.3Limits. We cannot erase public blockchain data. We may keep what the law requires (for example accounting) or what is needed for legal claims.

12.4Complaints. You can complain to us first. You may also complain to the data-protection authority of the place where you live or work.

13. Security#

13.1Measures that are built or designed:

• your password is stretched in your browser (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256, 600,000 rounds) and only the derived key is sent; the server stores a keyed hash of it, compared in constant time; the secret key ("pepper") is a server secret;
• session and one-time-link codes are random 256-bit values stored only as hashes; sessions are cookies marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite, with an anti-forgery token;
• sign-in attempts are limited per account and per IP address, with growing lock times;
• sign-in (a wrong password and an unknown address get the same answer) and password reset answer the same way for known and unknown addresses. Registration is the exception: a new account is signed in at once, before its e-mail address is confirmed, and that sign-in fails for an address that already has an account, so anyone who uses the sign-up form, or our account service directly, can find out whether an address is taken (the owner of that address gets an e-mail about the attempt);
• signed licences use Ed25519; the private signing key is a server secret;
• no server key can move customer money: deposits are forwarded by a contract to a fixed destination;
• the pages are served with a restrictive content security policy that allows connections only to our own addresses (bestmastering.com and the account service api.bestmastering.com) and allows scripts and frames from no third party except Cloudflare's bot check (challenges.cloudflare.com, clause 3, row 19).

13.2Honest limits. A script inside a page or a malicious browser extension can read what you type. There is no two-factor sign-in yet; whoever controls your mailbox can reset your password. The derived key is a password-equivalent credential for this site. Nothing is 100 percent secure. Keep your devices and mailbox safe.

13.3Breaches. If a personal-data breach occurs that is likely to harm you, we will tell you without undue delay and will notify the authority where the law requires, within the legal deadline (commonly 72 hours).

14. Children#

14.1The service is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy. The free tools do not collect personal data from anyone who does not register. If you think a child has registered, write to us and we will delete the account.

15. Automated decisions#

15.1We use no profiling or automated decisions that have legal effects on you. Sign-in locks, rate limits, the bot check and any country block list are automatic security measures. Credits and licences are granted automatically by rules (a confirmed payment, a click on Buy).

16. Changes to this policy#

16.1We will update this policy when the service changes. We will tell you of material changes at least 30 days ahead by e-mail or on the Site. Each version has a date and number.

5. Tarayıcı depolaması, çerezler ve service worker#

5.1Site bazı verileri yalnızca cihazınızda saklar: küçük ayarlar (dil, yerleşim), otomatik kaydedilen projeler ve içe aktarılan ses (IndexedDB), çevrimdışı kullanım için program dosyalarının kopyası (önbellek ve bir service worker) ve - giriş yaptığınızda - oturum çerezleri ve lisans bilgisi. 5.2Çerezler yalnızca giriş ve güvenlik içindir. Hizmet için kesinlikle gereklidir. Bot kontrolü için (madde 3, satır 19) çerez koymayız ve tarayıcınızda hiçbir şey saklamayız; bunun için Cloudflare'in kendisinin koyduğu her şey konusunda Cloudflare'in Çerez Politikası'na bakın.

6. Ödemeler ve blokzincir verisi#

6.1Ödemeler BNB Smart Chain üzerindeki USDT transferleridir; bu herkese açık, kalıcı bir defterdir. Oradaki işlemler, adresler ve tutarlar herkese görünür, cüzdanınızı bilen herkes tarafından sizinle ilişkilendirilebilir ve bizim ya da başka birinin düzenleyip silemeyeceği şeylerdir. 7. İndirilebilir eklentiler#

7.1Eklentiler sesi bilgisayarınızda işler ve bize göndermez.

7.2Bir eklentiyi etkinleştirmek için eklenti kısa bir kod gösterir ve siz bu Site'de oturum açmışken onu onaylarsınız; eklentinin kendisi bu durumda e-posta adresi ya da şifre göndermez. Yedek yol olarak eklenti sizi kendisi de oturuma sokabilir; o zaman e-posta adresinizi ve türetilmiş bir anahtarı gönderir. Her iki durumda ve eklenti lisansını her yenilediğinde, şifreli bağlantıyla eklenti adı ve sürümünü, bir cihaz tanımlayıcısını ve bir makine tanımlayıcısının tek yönlü özetini gönderir (madde 3, 11. satır). 8. Başka kimler veriyi işler (veri işleyenler)#

Veri satmayız ve reklamcılara vermeyiz. Yasa, mahkeme ya da kamu otoritesi gerektirdiğinde veya hakları ve güvenliği korumak için veri açıklayabiliriz.

9. Ülkeniz dışına aktarım#

9.1Sağlayıcılarımız çoğunlukla ABD'dedir ve küresel ağlar işletir. Verileriniz bu nedenle yaşadığınız ülkenin dışında işlenebilir. Sağlayıcıların standart sözleşme maddelerine ve varsa veri gizliliği çerçevesi sertifikalarına dayanırız.

10. Verileri ne kadar süre tutarız#

11. Hesabınızı ve verilerinizi silme#

11.1Nasıl. Hesap sayfanızda "Hesabı sil"i seçin, bakiyenizden ve lisanslarınızdan vazgeçtiğinizi onaylayın ve şifrenizi girin. Silme 7 günlük bir bekleme süresi başlatır: süre bitene kadar yine oturum açabilir ve hesap sayfanızdan silmeyi iptal edebilirsiniz; bu sürede satın almalar durdurulur. Süre başladığında adresinize bir e-posta göndeririz. Bu arada bakiyeniz değişirse (örneğin bir yatırma gelirse) silme iptal edilir ve size haber veririz. Giriş yapamıyorsanız kayıtlı adresten support@bestmastering.com adresine yazın; e-posta kutunuz üzerinden doğrularız.

11.2Bekleme süresi bitince silinenler: e-posta adresiniz ve şifre doğrulama değeriniz, oturumlarınız, tek kullanımlık bağlantılar, imza kodları, bağlı cüzdanlar, lisans ve tutma hakları ile cihaz kayıtlarınız. Yatırma adresi emekliye ayrılır.

11.3Kalanlar ve nedeni: bakiye defteri, satın alma kayıtları, ödeme kayıtları ve yatırma kayıtları hesabınızdan ayrılır (içlerindeki hesap kimliği temizlenir) ve muhasebe olguları olarak tutulur; çünkü gerçek ödemeleri anlatırlar ve zaten blokzincir herkese açıktır. Emekli yatırma adresinin kaydı (anlamsız bir tanımlayıcı ve adresin kendisi) ile hesabın kendisiyle ilgili güvenlik günlüğü satırları anlamsız hesap kimliğini tutar; hesap silindiğinde bu satırlardan (konusu hesap olanlardan) IP'nin gizli anahtarlı özeti çıkarılır ve satırlar madde 10'da belirtilen sürede silinir. Başka bir şeyle ilgili güvenlik günlüğü satırları (bir e-posta adresi, tek bir bilgisayar ya da CXDX tutma özelliği bir gün açılırsa bir cüzdan) silmeyle değişmez (madde 3, satır 13). Bu takma adlı veridir, anonim veri değildir: anlamsız kimlik artık e-posta adresinize çıkmaz, ama yatırma adresinizi bilen herkes ödemelerini herkese açık blokzincirde bulabilir. Emekli yatırma adresi, geç gelen bir ödeme yanlış bir hesaba gitmesin diye yaklaşık 90 gün izlenir; böyle bir ödeme artık hesaba yazılamaz.

11.4Sonuçlar. Hesap silindiğinde bakiyeniz ve lisanslarınız kaybolur. Önce bakiyenizi kullanın ya da geri çekin (İade ve Ödeme Politikası). Bekleme süresi başladığında adresinize kısa bir e-posta, hesap silindiğinde bir tane daha gönderilir; bunların kopyasını tutmayız. Daha sonra aynı adresle yeniden kayıt olursanız yeni, boş bir hesap alırsınız.

11.5Yedekler verileri sınırlı bir süre tutabilir (madde 10).

12. Haklarınız#

12.1Herkese bir nezaket. Hangi ülkede olursanız olun, kişisel verileriniz üzerinde GDPR tarzı şu hakları veririz: erişim (bir kopya), düzeltme, silme, işlemenin kısıtlanması, itiraz, taşınabilirlik (yapılandırılmış kopya) ve dayandığımız yerde rızayı geri çekme. Yaşadığınız yere bağlı olarak GDPR (AB), Birleşik Krallık GDPR'ı ya da kendi ülkenizin veri koruma yasaları size bu hakları yasayla da verebilir.

12.2Nasıl. Hesap sayfanızdaki "Verilerimi indir" size hesabınızı, bakiyenizi, defterinizi, satın alımlarınızı, ürünlerinizi, cihazlarınızı, yatırmalarınızı ve ödemelerinizi içeren bir dosya verir (çok fazlaysa en son kayıtlar). Başka her şey için ya da tam kopya için hesap adresinizden support@bestmastering.com adresine yazın. 30 gün içinde yanıtlarız (yasanın izin verdiği yerde uzatılabilir). Kimliğinizi kanıtlamanızı isteyebiliriz; gerekenden fazlasını istemeyiz.

12.3Sınırlar. Herkese açık blokzincir verisini silemeyiz. Yasanın gerektirdiğini (örneğin muhasebe) ya da hukuki taleplerde gerekeni tutabiliriz.

12.4Şikâyetler. Önce bize şikâyet edebilirsiniz. Ayrıca yaşadığınız ya da çalıştığınız yerin veri koruma otoritesine şikâyet edebilirsiniz.

13. Güvenlik#

13.1Kurulmuş ya da tasarlanmış önlemler:

• şifreniz tarayıcınızda gerilir (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256, 600.000 tur) ve yalnızca türetilmiş anahtar gönderilir; sunucu onun sabit zamanlı karşılaştırılan gizli anahtarlı özetini saklar; gizli anahtar ("biber") bir sunucu sırrıdır;
• oturum ve tek kullanımlık bağlantı kodları rastgele 256 bit değerlerdir ve yalnızca özet olarak saklanır; oturumlar HttpOnly, Secure ve SameSite işaretli çerezlerdir ve sahteciliğe karşı bir jetonla birlikte gelir;
• giriş denemeleri hesap ve IP adresi başına, giderek uzayan kilit sürelerle sınırlanır;
• giriş (yanlış şifre ile bilinmeyen adres aynı yanıtı alır) ve şifre sıfırlama bilinen ve bilinmeyen adresler için aynı biçimde yanıt verir. Kayıt bunun istisnasıdır: yeni bir hesap, e-posta adresi onaylanmadan önce hemen oturum açtırılır ve bu oturum açma, zaten hesabı olan bir adres için başarısız olur; bu yüzden kayıt formunu ya da hesap hizmetimizi doğrudan kullanan herkes bir adresin alınmış olup olmadığını öğrenebilir (o adresin sahibine bu deneme hakkında bir e-posta gider);
• imzalı lisanslar Ed25519 kullanır; özel imza anahtarı bir sunucu sırrıdır;
• hiçbir sunucu anahtarı müşteri parasını hareket ettiremez: yatırmalar bir sözleşmeyle sabit bir hedefe aktarılır;
• sayfalar yalnızca kendi adreslerimize (bestmastering.com ve hesap hizmeti api.bestmastering.com) bağlantıya izin veren ve Cloudflare'in bot kontrolü (challenges.cloudflare.com, madde 3, satır 19) dışında hiçbir üçüncü tarafın betik ya da çerçevesine izin vermeyen kısıtlayıcı bir içerik güvenlik politikasıyla sunulur.

13.2Dürüst sınırlar. Sayfa içindeki bir betik ya da kötü niyetli bir tarayıcı eklentisi yazdığınızı okuyabilir. Henüz iki adımlı giriş yoktur; e-posta kutunuzu kontrol eden şifrenizi sıfırlayabilir. Türetilmiş anahtar bu site için şifre eşdeğeri bir kimlik bilgisidir. Hiçbir şey yüzde 100 güvenli değildir. Cihazlarınızı ve e-posta kutunuzu güvende tutun.

13.3İhlaller. Size zarar vermesi muhtemel bir kişisel veri ihlali olursa gecikmeden size haber veririz ve yasa gerektirdiği yerde yasal süre içinde (yaygın olarak 72 saat) otoriteye bildiririz.

14. Çocuklar#

14.1Hizmet çocuklara yönelik değildir. Hesap açmak veya satın almak için en az 18 yaşında olmalısınız. Ücretsiz araçlar kayıt olmayan kimseden kişisel veri toplamaz. Bir çocuğun kaydolduğunu düşünüyorsanız bize yazın, hesabı sileriz.

15. Otomatik kararlar#

15.1Size hukuki sonuç doğuran profilleme veya otomatik karar kullanmayız. Giriş kilitleri, hız sınırları, bot kontrolü ve varsa ülke engel listesi otomatik güvenlik önlemleridir. Krediler ve lisanslar kurallarla otomatik verilir (onaylanmış bir ödeme, Satın al'a bir tıklama).

16. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler#

16.1Hizmet değiştiğinde bu politikayı güncelleriz. Önemli değişiklikleri en az 30 gün önceden e-postayla ya da Site'de bildiririz. Her sürümün tarihi ve numarası vardır.
