Notice for the MP3 export#

MP3 export uses lamejs 1.2.1, a JavaScript rewrite of the LAME MP3 encoder (lame.sourceforge.io), which is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3.

The library is loaded as a separate file, exactly as published, and is not merged into other code. The tools read it from the address /vendor/lame.min.js whenever they encode an MP3 and do not check it against a fixed value, so a modified build of the library with the same interface that your browser loads from that address can be used in its place.

The corresponding source is published on this site, in the folder described by this guide: the unminified lame.all.js, the JavaScript sources and the build scripts of the package. It is also at github.com/zhuker/lamejs. The licence texts are LGPL-3.0 and GPL-3.0.

Nothing in the Terms of Service limits your rights under this licence for this library.

Copyright notices in the source files#

The lines below are copied word for word from the comment headers of the JavaScript source files of the library; the same lines are in the unminified file lame.all.js. The headers offer the GNU Lesser General Public License "version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version" (version 2.1 in one file). BestMastering uses the library under version 3, which these headers allow and which the package.json of the library names (LGPL-3.0).
